  16. About the Sample Typefaces

  18. About the PostScript Typefaces
  19. The supplied PostScript fonts are Type 1 format and are completely 
  20. compatible with Adobe Type Manager. When used in conjunction with the 
  21. ATM software, Image Club PostScript typefaces will give you clean, easy 
  22. to read screen fonts at any size and sharp, legible output on nearly any 
  23. imagesetting device.

  25. About the TrueType Typefaces
  26. TrueType fonts are a direct competitor to the industry standard Type 1 
  27. PostScript format. With TrueType, both the character outline and screen 
  28. font information are contained in the same document. Clean, sharp screen 
  29. fonts and output on nearly any imagesetting device are possible without the 
  30. use of Adobe Type Manager because the typeface rasterizer is built into 
  31. Microsoft Windows 3.1 and later. TrueType fonts also have the ability to 
  32. contain large character sets, well beyond the limitations of the 256 
  33. character barrier found in standard encoded PostScript typefaces. 
  34. However, TrueType fonts can only be used on a PC running Microsoft 
  35. Windows version 3.1 or later.
